In the greatest rivalry in NBA history, the Boston Celtics face the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
Latest injury status of LeBron James and Anthony Davis
On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers (11-15; 11-15 ATS) snapped a three-game losing streak. They won 124-117 as 5-point underdogs against the Detroit Pistons to complete a six-game road trip.
According to Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com, Anthony Davis is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Celtics due to low back tightness.
Davis has been on the Lakers’ injury report several times this season due to a back injury, but he’s proven that he can play through it.
LeBron James is expected to play against the Celtics on Tuesday despite minor ankle discomfort.
James has been listed as probable on the Lakers’ initial injury report, as he has been for much of the season, though it is expected that he will be able to play his regular, high-minute role.
Through 19 games this season, the four-time MVP is averaging 26.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.2 steals in 35.9 minutes per game.
The Boston Celtics may be without Al Horford (personal reasons) and Robert Williams (knee)
According to Jared Weiss of The Athletic, Horford (personal) is expected to return to the Celtics on Friday.
Horford hasn’t played since Dec. 4, when he missed practice due to health and safety protocols, which were followed by a personal matter.
It’s unclear whether he’ll be available for Friday’s game against the Magic, as the veteran may need a few days to get back into game shape.
