On Tuesday evening, the Memphis Grizzlies will face the Sacramento Kings in Tennessee. For the game, they are expected to be without their best player, Ja Morant.
Latest news on Ja Morant and De’Aaron Fox
The Kings defeated the Spurs 130-112 in their previous game, thanks to another outstanding performance by point guard De’Aaron Fox.
The Kings have become the NBA’s most prolific scoring team, averaging more than 120 points per game. They have the highest overall shooting percentage and the sixth highest three-point shooting percentage thus far.
The Kings have the third-best assist-to-turnover ratio in the NBA, indicating that the team believes in Brown’s coaching philosophy.

De’Aaron Fox finished with 33 points (11-18 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 9-9 FT), four rebounds, and seven assists in 36 minutes against Detroit on Sunday.
Fox got off to a fast start, scoring 15 of his 21 points in the first half in the second half. This was his fifth 30-point game of the season.
The Kings have won six straight games, and Fox has been a big part of that success, averaging 24.0 points and 8.7 assists while hitting 57.7 percent of his shots.
The All-Star point guard is listed as questionable after injuring his ankle against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday (he did not play against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday).
On Saturday, the Grizzlies provided an update on Morant’s injury, stating that he would be considered “week-to-week.”
Morant has averaged 28.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 7.1 assists in 14 games.
Desmond Bane suffered a Grade 2 sprain of his right big toe against Minnesota on November 11 and is expected to be out for two to three weeks.
Bane’s absence will leave a significant void in Memphis’ scoring department; he is currently averaging 24.7 points per game. He’s also been an important floor spacer for the Grizzlies, shooting 45.1 percent from long range in the first 12 games, a career high.
