On Saturday, the Toronto Raptors (9-7) will travel to Atlanta, GA to face the Atlanta Hawks (9-6). Both of these teams have had strong starts to the season, but the Raptors defeated the Hawks earlier this year, 139-109.
Latest injury status of Trae Young and Fred VanVleet
The Atlanta Hawks are coming off a 126-101 loss to the Boston Celtics. The Hawks struggled on the offensive end of the court in that game, shooting 41.6% from the field. If they are to take care of business at home, they will need to improve their ball-handling abilities.
Trae Young finished the game against Boston with 27 points (10-23 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, nine assists, and one steal in 31 minutes.
Trae Young finished with a game-high 27 points, making him the fifth player in five games to score 20 or more points. Furthermore, the Hawks’ point guard has at least nine assists in ten of the team’s fourteen games this season.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) will miss Saturday’s game against the Raptors.
The Toronto Raptors defeated the Miami Heat by a score of 112-104. They looked great on the defensive end of the court, contesting every shot. If they want to compete with the Hawks on the road, they will have to tighten up defensively once more.
In the starting lineup, Fred VanVleet remains the preferred name.
During Wednesday’s game against the Heat, Fred VanVleet finished with 23 points (7-21 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 6-7 FT), one rebound, and eight assists in 39 minutes.
Pascal Siakam (groin) is back on the court and will be evaluated in about a week.
Pascal Siakam has already missed seven games due to a Grade-2 adductor strain. Thaddeus Young and Juancho Hernangomez should continue to see extended minutes in Siakam’s absence.
