According to Mark Followill of Bally Sports Southwest, Christian Wood (knee) will miss the Mavericks’ two-game road trip.
Wood was reported to be staying in Dallas rather than traveling with the team for Wednesday’s game, and it appeared unlikely that he would rejoin the team in DC 24 hours later. According to head coach Jason Kidd, Wood’s next opportunity to play will be Saturday in Dallas against the Trail Blazers.
Davis Bertan (knee) is out indefinitely and has yet to play for the Mavericks. The fact that he did not travel with the team suggests that he will miss at least Thursday’s game as well, though the team has not officially announced this.
