  • Kyle Pitts

UPDATE 2: Pitts (hamstring) is officially listed as “questionable” for Atlanta’s Week 6 home game against San Francisco, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

UPDATE: According to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein, Pitts (hamstring) is practicing for the second day in a row.

According to NFL Network’s James Palmer, Pitts (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday.

The second-year tight end was limited in practice on Wednesday but expects to be ready for the 49ers game on Sunday. Pitts is expected to rebound from a slow start to the season with 10 receptions (22 targets) for 150 yards.

Pitts remains one of the league’s top tight ends and should be considered a low-end TE1 this week.

  • Keenan Allen

Allen (hamstring) participated in individual drills on Wednesday in preparation for the Chargers’ Week 6 game against the Broncos on Monday night.

The veteran wide receiver has been out for the past four games due to a hamstring injury suffered in Week 1. Allen appeared to be ready to play last week until he aggravated his injury in practice.

If Allen can get through a couple of practices before the end of the week, he should be able to play on Monday night.

Marquise Brown of the Cardinals missed practice Wednesday due to a foot injury.

Brown was mentioned as a limited participant on the Cardinals’ injury report last Friday, but he played 94% of the offensive snaps against the Panthers, catching six of 11 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown.

As the weekend approaches, his availability for Sunday’s game against the Eagles should be supervised.

If Brown is active, he will face off against Philadelphia cornerback Darius Slay.
